David Halpert has written an interesting article in XBIZ concerning a return to incest porn in the adult industry. I have to agree with Mr. Halpert’s assertion in his XBIZ article, though, that the quality in today’s films are being surrendered to quantity as “experienced auteurs continue to push the boundaries of whatever is fresh and original in the hope that it will become the next big thing?”.
The Mitchell Brothers were the pioneers I believe in their attempts to push porn films into the mainstream. The big production Sodom and Gomorrah: The Last Seven Days was the Mitchell brothers attempt to go mainstream. But the acting and the production did not quite match up to the mainstream films of the time.
