Interesting journalism article was in the New York Times concerning mainstream news outlets are starting to link to other sites to improve their online advertising. “Link Journalism” is changing the way large print media like the Times, Washington Post, NBC and others are looking at ways to improve the way online readers are getting their information.

They are imitating the Google model where subscribers are turned away from the choices they have when selecting a journalistic topic or product, but yet come back to search later for information they did not need the first time because they now it is there. This linking approach is viewed as a form of “reverse logic”. The large print journalism companies are learning not to be afraid if the information subscribers need comes from other sources. The key is their subscribers are going through their sites to link on to other sites thus creating a unique way of looking at print journalism.

Well, they have nothing on the way business is done in the adult industry. This approach has been used for quite some time.
